2026-05-29, AthDGC v0.4.0 minted on Zenodo (an open research-data repository hosted at CERN that mints permanent DOIs)
The AthDGC platform source-code snapshot reached Zenodo as v0.4.0 with concept DOI (a Digital Object Identifier that always points to the latest version of a deposited record) 10.5281/zenodo.20439182. The launch report publishes as WP-01 in the GlossaContactLab Working Papers, digital edition.

Forthcoming, AthDGC v0.5 release
The next AthDGC corpus release is the v0.5 audit-fix pass: clean re-annotation of the existing Greek periods after the Stanza (Stanford's open-source Python workflow that automatically tags, lemmatises, and parses sentences)-introduced errors are corrected at scale on GRNET ARIS (the Greek national high-performance computing cluster, run by GRNET), plus the Classical Armenian editorial fix on the xcl_proiel workflow. Release date will be announced when the audit pass is verified.
2026-05-28, Workshop: New Trends in Diachronic and Theoretical Linguistics
The lab hosted a one-day Workshop on New Trends in Diachronic and Theoretical Linguistics at the Conference Room of the Library of the School of Philosophy, NKUA, as part of the MA Seminar series of the Programme in English Language, Linguistics, and Translation. Two invited lectures were delivered by colleagues from the University of Bucharest: Adina Dragomirescu on the syntax of Istro-Romanian between Romance inheritance and Slavonic contact, and Alexandru Nicolae on the syntax of negation in Romanian from a comparative perspective. The afternoon session featured seven young-researcher talks by members of the lab. The full programme, abstracts, and speaker information are on the Events page.
