Venue & Local Experiences

The Island of Ariadne

Naxos is the largest and greenest island in the Cyclades, famous for its long sandy beaches, fertile valleys, and rich history. According to mythology, it was here that Theseus abandoned Ariadne after killing the Minotaur on Crete.

The summer school takes place in Naxos Town (Chora), a vibrant harbor town presided over by a Venetian castle and the iconic Portara, the massive marble gateway of an unfinished ancient temple dedicated to Apollo.
