Yes! The programme is designed to welcome students from diverse backgrounds. No prior computational experience is required. We will guide you through all necessary technical skills during the course.
Selected students will receive support from an Erasmus+ grant for physical mobility to Greece. Grant allocation is based on academic merit, motivation, and financial need, and is subject to availability of Erasmus+ funding.
All online sessions will be recorded and made available for asynchronous viewing. However, participation in live sessions is encouraged for optimal learning and interaction with instructors and peers.
Yes, the programme awards 6 ECTS credits. However, recognition of these credits depends on your home university's policies. We recommend checking with your university's international office before applying.
Unfortunately, this programme is only open to students enrolled at CIVIS member universities. The 11 CIVIS partner universities are: Aix-Marseille Université, Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Sapienza Università di Roma, Stockholm University, Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, University of Bucharest, University of Glasgow, and Paris Lodron University of Salzburg.
We will primarily work with Python for NLP tasks, along with various computational linguistics tools and frameworks. All necessary software is free and open-source. Detailed technical requirements will be provided to accepted students before the course begins.
